Keith E. Hartley
Keith Hartley is a lifelong resident of Orange County, North Carolina. Prior to joining Kennon Craver, Keith practiced at a boutique firm in Durham in the areas of business law, estate planning, and estate administration.
At Kennon Craver Keith focuses on business law. Keith guides clients through business formations, asset and stock purchases, and transition planning and implementation. He also serves as outside general counsel for a number of businesses, assisting with contract review and drafting, and providing guidance on a variety of business and legal matters.
Having earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Keith spent a decade in the automotive industry before returning to UNC for law school, where he graduated with honors. During his time at UNC Law, he served as an Honors Writing Scholar and a staff member on the Journal of Law and Technology, volunteered with the UNC Law Cancer Project, and interned at the North Carolina Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Samuel J. Ervin, IV.
He lives in Hillsborough with his wife and three children and enjoys being outdoors and all things UNC athletics.
